South Tyneside is moving from the SEND Ranges to the SEND In Mainstream Settings Framework. The framework went live on 15th September 2026 and schools and settings will move to it in stages during the 2026/27 academic year. The Framework is a tool for education staff in mainstream schools and early years settings and it will help staff identify needs, plan support and review progress in a more consistent way.
