Year 1 were very excited to join Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler online to celebrate the release of the story “Gruffalo Granny”. Julia Donaldson got dressed up as a mouse and acted out the original Gruffalo story and then she read her new book Gruffalo Granny to us. After that, Axel Scheffler showed us how to draw Gruffalo Granny. It was fantastic and now we are looking forward to having this new book in class to read ourselves!
