Year Six have had a busy week taking their Sats.

The class have worked hard with Mrs Watson, Mrs Maddison and Mr O’Brien, supported by Mrs Small  and staff from the school to prepare for these important benchmark tests.

During the week, our cook John has prepared some lovely cooked breakfasts for the children each day to help set them up for their tests- ‘an army marches on it’s stomach’. Thank you John.

What better way to finish the week with a French breakfast or ‘Petit dejeuner’.

‘The Pattisserie’,  owned by Mrs Lee, did not disappoint us and the children enthusiastically tucked into croissants, pain au chocolat, pain au raisin, tresses, banana and maple syrup bread, fresh fruit, jams, chocolate, caramel and maple sauces. The children also had juice and Chocolat Chaud (Hot Chocolate) to accompany their breakfast.

Every piece of food was eaten and there was no waste at all – Year Six like their food- especially when it was a good at this .

Welcome to our French Breakfast

A beautiful selection of French food for our breakfast!

Not a morsel was left! Empty plates and NO waste at all . The breakfast was enjoyed by all in our class.

Mmm! what to choose?

Yum, Yum. Cela semble délicieux . This looks delicious.

Qu’est-ce que tu vas avoir? Je voudrais un croissant s’il vous plaît.

Thank you John. I’ve never seen Jamie get of bed so quickly, just to get to school for your lovely bacon sandwiches. Jamie says they were yummy. Thank you.
