Congratulations to these superstars who have worked extremely hard to quicken their reaction times! They are shooting up the leaderboard!!
These amazing children have broken the one second barrier to become Rock Heroes! Well done Daisy and Tristan from Y4 and Melissa from Y5!
On Wednesday 2nd May, Marsden’s Young Engineers were finally able to test drive the Greenpower Goblin kit car they had been making. The children were also trying-on crash helmets and overalls to get their correct sizes.
The children each had a test-drive around the MUGA – reaching a top speed of 20mph. They now have to design and build the bodywork and prepare for the race in July.
The amazing Sophie from Y6 now tops our TTRockstars leaderboard with an eye watering speed of a question every 0.64 seconds! What a superstar! Here she is in action!
This week all of the children participated in Road Safety awareness. We had great fun using the role play resources and learning to ride bikes.
This week we’ve had an ever-changing leaderboard with so many children competing to earn the most coins and increase their speed. Congratulations the children who earned the most coins over the last seven days:
Y1/2: Federico, Sadie and Ethan
Y3/4: Daisy, Liam and Lyra
Y5/6: Amelia M, Cerys, Phoebe and Nicholas
Next week we are looking for children who have shown an improvement from their baseline to current speed.
Check out the amazing skills of Deacon from our Year Six class! We are in awe of how quickly he can recall his multiplication and division facts! I think we may need to check if we actually have a super human at Marsden! I wonder if any of the adults could match his speed?
